Amar Mishra (Amarendra Nath Mishra) is a former Chief General Manager (Projects) at Steel Authority of India Limited’s Rourkela Steel Plant. His 33-year career was grounded in the complex realities of industrial engineering, large project environments and people-led execution.
Industrial projects bring together multiple disciplines — technical design, contracting, procurement, civil works, equipment, construction, commissioning and operational readiness. Senior leadership in this context demands both the precision to understand details and the judgment to see how they connect.
